Leading diverse design teams
I’ve managed teams of designers with with visual, UX, writing and strategy backgrounds. I’m also passionate about the power of design teams with diverse backgrounds beyond just work experience.
Data-driven design
I have worked as a user researcher in my career, so I believe strongly in hearing directly from customers and challenging one’s own assumptions about what people need or want. I’ve also seen that data often tells us that the prettiest design doesn’t always win.
Taking products from 0 to 1
I have a lot of experience working in the early stages of bringing a new product or feature to life with very little definition. I am very comfortable in the grey area.
Cross-functional leadership
All of my leadership experience has involved collaborating with product, tech, research and fellow design leads to ensure we gain the full picture our customer needs and the opportunity space.
